There’s a moment just here where everything softens. You pass the café sign, the turquoise sign greets you like an old friend, and the sea unfolds like it’s been waiting just for you. This is where I come back to myself. Sketchbook tucked under one arm, the scent of salt and grilled halloumi in the air. I’ve stood at this spot a hundred times, but it always feels like the first deep breath after holding it too long.
