Painted in loose ink and watercolour, this piece captures a quieter moment on Porthminster Beach the lifeguard hut sitting steady above the sand, with the shoreline stretching out beyond.
I was drawn to the simplicity here, the structure of the hut against the openness of the beach, and those small touches of colour that bring it to life. It’s one of those inbetween moments, where the pace softens and everything feels a little more still.
A sketchy glimpse of the coast, held lightly between tide and time.
